Wire the Prototype Recap📱

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Wire the Prototype workshop! It was incredible to see your sketches finally start coming to life as interactive digital experiences.

A huge thank you for the hard work and dedication many of you put in over Spring Break to keep our project moving forward!

What did we do at Wire the Prototype?

• Teams spent time in Figma focusing on layout structure and content hierarchy to reach finalized versions of their page wireframes.

• We began applying the Madison Public Market’s primary and accent colors, alongside their official typography!

THIS MONDAY – Prototype Work Time ⚙️

As we approach the our showcase for the Madison Public Market redesign, we want to ensure our final prototype is as polished and user-friendly as possible!

To build on the progress from our Thursday workshops, we’re scheduling additional block of time to finalize our high-fidelity screens and interactive components. We’ll refine the website and fill in any missing portions before testing begins.

What you’ll do:

• Build key pages in WordPress using Elementor

• Implement navigation, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility

• Work directly from a research-backed Figma prototype

What we’re looking for: Comfortable with WordPress page builders. CSS, PHP, and JavaScript experience is a plus. No need to be an expert, just ready to build.
